Shocking video posted to social media showed the moments a man punched a defenseless flight attendant in the back of the head on a flight from Mexico yesterday.The attack took place yesterday on American Airlines flight AA377 from Los Cabos, Mexico to Los Angeles International Airport in California. According to a report from CBS News, the man was upset he had been refused access to the first class bathroom.In the video shot by a passenger, a flight attendant is standing in the aisle, blocking the man from entering the first class section of the plane.“Are you threatening men?” the flight attendant can be heard asking on the video.

A jury in California convicted a man for threatening out state senator, Scott Wiener, via email earlier this year.Erik Triana, 51, was convicted on seven of eight counts related to an email he sent to Wiener’s web portal shortly after the senator introduced a bill that would have allowed minors 15 years of age or older to obtain a vaccine without the consent of a parent or guardian. Triana, a father of three, was also convicted on multiple weapons charges.“Vax my kids without my permission and expect a visit from me and my rifle,” Triana wrote to Wiener in an email sent on January 22nd.

Last week, a California man pleaded guilty in a Massachusetts federal court to having threatened to commit anti-LGBTQ+ violence against Merriam-Webster, the dictionary publisher.Jeremy David Hanson, 34, of Rossmoor, Calif., pled guilty in a plea deal to charges of interstate communication for threatening Merriam-Webster employees, as well as a charge of the same offense against the president of the University of North Texas, the Department of Justice said in an announcement of the plea. Additionally, Hanson admitted to sending threats to various corporations, politicians, and others in a written statement of facts included in his plea agreement.

In response to a California school district's decision to paint Progress Pride murals on all school buildings, right-wing extremists plan to protest on Wednesday evening.All 15 of Castro Valley Unified School District's schools, plus the administration office, were painted with the progress Pride flag last week. Three days after one of his alleged victims died, a California suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing at a Long Beach gay bar has been arrested.Local police arrested Michael Smalls, 56, on Tuesday, according to a news release.Smalls has been accused of stabbing Christopher Finley, 28, to death at the Mineshaft bar on Friday night.Finley was killed after he and another man had an argument with Smalls outside of the bar, according to police. The altercation got physical, police said, before Smalls pulled out a knife and stabbed the two in the upper body.Finley died about eight hours after medical personnel took him to the hospital despite initial police reports that his injuries were not life-threatening.A verified GoFundMe revealed that the other victim was Finley's partner, identified as Jacob Touchstone.Authorities said the couple was involved in an altercation with a taser-wielding man outside the bar before the altercation with Smalls.
