In a massive step back for trans rights, FINA has placed new restrictions on transgender women competing in swimming competitions.

Advocates for allowing transgender women to compete in sports against biological women took a huge setback Sunday, at least in the world of elite swimming. FINA, the sport's world governing body, announced transgender women would not be allowed in major women's races, effective Monday.FINA is known as the international swimming federation that's recognized by the International Olympic Committee. FINA stated it's working to create an "open" category for some events for transgender who want to compete.The new policy didn't absolutely disqualify transgender women from participating in women's sports.

Buckingham Palace will not release a report to the public on the investigation into claims that Meghan Markle «bullied» palace staff. According to a report from, Buckingham Palace will be “improving the policies and procedures” in its HR department following the investigation, however, more details into the case will not be released to the public. Citing royal sources, says the Palace is not releasing this information as a way to «limit tensions between the Sussexes and the palace» and «protect the privacy of those who took part» in the investigation.  reports that Buckingham Palace no longer plans to make any public statement on the inquiry, or even publicly acknowledge the subsequent changes to its HR policies. Originally, the announcement on HR changes was set to be published in the Sovereign Grant report later this month. The bullying investigation was launched in March 2021 following a report by  that was published just days before Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey was set to air. According to the report, Meghan faced a bullying complaint at Kensington Palace back in October 2018, claiming she «drove two personal assistants out of the household and was undermining the confidence of a third staff member.» A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry denied the allegation, calling it a «calculated smear campaign.»In June 2021, the then-highly anticipated report was delayed.

At this point everyone in America should know what Juneteenth is.But just in case, it is a celebration of the end of the enslavement of Black people in the Unites States. The last slaves were freed in Galveston Texas on June 19, 1865, ending the most divisive and destructive system our country has ever seen. We celebrate this day because it is vital that everyone understand the implication it has on society.  It is vital that everyone understand that when this atrocity ended it truly was only the beginning.

Fact: bisexuality can fly under the radar because folks who appreciate men and women sometimes find themselves in straight-presenting relationships. As a result, many bisexual people don’t feel the need to come out and speak their truths like other LGBTQ folks. While nobody is obligated to come out and proclaim their authentic selves, doing so helps with representation.
