Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

Lauren is a barred attorney and human rights advocate currently serving as the Federal Policy Counsel at the National LGBTQ Task Force.

Prior to law school Lauren worked in refugee resettlement and immigrant workforce development where she addressed the barriers and intersectionality of employment, gender, and immigration status as the Women’s Employability Employment Specialist with the International Rescue Committee and as the Program Manager for Upwardly Global’s D.C.

office. Lauren is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Malawi from 2012-2014. During her service she worked with teachers to prevent and address gender-based violence through developing reporting structures in schools.

Lauren also served as the Camp Director for Peace Corps Camp Sky, Malawi’s national education camp, supporting students from resource deficient schools to prepare for their national exams.
