Prince Andrew and his ex wife could lose the home they share together in Windsor as the new King puts his mark on the Royal Family. The Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson are reportedly expecting to have to pack their bags and leave the 31-bedroom Royal Lodge they live in that is owned by the Crown Estate.
Following the death of the Queen, it is thought to be only a matter of time that Andrew’s older brother King Charles goes forward with the royal reshuffle he previously hinted at.The Crown's abundance of property, which spans over 500,000 acres of land across the UK, is likely to fall under the King's impending review but Andrew could be set to get a lot of money if he is “kicked out”.
If his undisclosed 100-year lease on the Queen Mother's former home, Royal Lodge, is cut short, Andrew may be able to claim up to £7million in compensation.
