Meet Monica, one sweet and happy dog. Monica is a shepherd mix with a full coat of almost ginger hair. She is 8 years old and weighs in at 69 pounds.
She is super energetic and is more than happy to let humans join in on the frolicking. There is a bit of a warm-up period as Monica tends to be a little on the shy side at first meeting, but once proper introductions are made, her playful side comes out quickly.
Bring all pets and family to the shelter to meet her. She is housed at the Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center, so a prior appointment is necessary to meet her in person.
Adult dogs and cats are normally a $75 adoption fee from the SPCA of Texas. Puppies and kittens under the age of six months are $150.
