The Advocate is a winner, baby.The LGBTQ+ magazine won in the category of Outstanding Print Article for “20 LGBTQ+ People Working to Save Lives on the Frontline.” These profiles of out essential workers were authored by Diane Anderson-Minshall, David Artavia, Tracy E. Gilchrist, Desiree Guerrero, Jeffrey Masters, Donald Padgett, and Daniel Reynolds, who were all named as honorees.The Advocate and its sister health magazine, Plus, were also up for Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage — a category The Advocate won in 2020 — but they lost this year to People.
