NFL star Carl Nassib announced a new donation of $100k to the Trevor Project. Back in 2021, the 29-year-old sent shockwaves through the sports community when he came out as gay in a heartfelt social media post.
Since coming out, Nassib has used his platform to give back to the LGBTQ+ community with his multiple donations to The Trevor Project.
With it being a year since he uploaded his monumental coming-out video, the free-agent player has announced another generous pledge to the LGBTQ+ mental health organisation via Instagram video. “I want to wish everybody a happy Pride Month.
I also want to remind people why Pride is important to me,” he said. “Out there right now there’s a kid saying that I’d rather be dead than be gay.
