Ready to Serve Low-Income & Faith-Based LGBTQ Communities SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—Recently, the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) launched the “We Serve with Love” campaign, which seeks to demonstrate that faith-based service organizations and programs are ready to serve low-income LGBTQ people and families with love.

Specifically, the campaign raises awareness of LGBTQ welcoming faith-based service providers, educates faith-based direct service providers on how to offer LGBTQ welcoming services and programs, and increases understanding in the faith-based direct service provider community of how poverty impacts LGBTQ people.“As a survivor of the shame of growing up poor, Black, and queer, I hope the “We Serve with Love” campaign sends.
