Reuters reports. The “LA” logo on the caps will be filled in with rainbow colors. The caps will be for sale at souvenir stands as well.Then, on June 11, both the Dodgers and Giants will wear Pride caps for a game in San Francisco, marking the first time two teams have done so.

The Giants last year became the first to sport Pride caps.“The Los Angeles Dodgers are proud to stand with and recognize the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles and globally,” said a statement from Dodgers President and CEO Stan Kasten. “The Dodgers have a history of breaking barriers, and we’re proud to be a part of another chapter in MLB history as the Dodgers and Giants each wear their team’s pride caps on June 11.

While our organizations have a long-storied rivalry on the field, we stand together when it comes to equality for all.”For Pride Night at Dodger Stadium, fans can buy a special ticket package that includes a Dodgers jersey trimmed in rainbow colors.

The night will feature a postgame fireworks show set to music by DJ Bowie Jane, with fans allowed on the field, and appearances by several guests representing the LGBTQ+ community, including Billy Bean, Major League Baseball’s senior vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion; former MLB umpire Dale Scott; retired MMA fighter Fallon Fox; and Army First Lt.
