Emmanuel repeatedly interrupted Blake's videos of other animals to peck at the camera and garnered millions of views in the process.Blake posted a lengthy Twitter thread Saturday, in which she described the "massive tragedy" caused by an avian flu outbreak at her farm.Wild geese flying onto the farm transmitted the virus, she said.

A local Fox affiliate reported on the "unexpected alliance" between conservatives and Arab Americans in standing up to public school boards in Michigan that are stocking "explicit" LGBTQ books in school libraries.  The report detailed the attendance of concerned conservative and Arab American parents at a Dearborn, Michigan public school board meeting Thursday night to protest "having LGBTQ+ books on the library’s rolls saying they’re sexually explicit." But one historian has revealed that this era of settlers, cowboys, outlaws, and Native Americans also contained “hundreds” of people who lived as the opposite gender.Peter Boag, author of Re-Dressing America’s Frontier Past, said he discovered “hundreds of individuals living their lives as the opposite gender” from the early 1800s to the early 1900s.Boag said that many of these people were individuals who were assigned a female gender at birth, but dressed and lived as men in order to either escape criminal charges they had gotten as women or to have the same social rights as men.At the time, women were treated like the property of their husbands or birth families.

Police in Norway on Sunday announced the arrest of two men in connection with the mass shooting in Oslo during Pride month last June.Oslo police said they had arrested a Somali citizen in his 40s and a Norwegian citizen in his 30s, but, according to Reuters, provided no other information on the suspects or the charges.The arrests bring to four the number of people implicated by police in connection with the attack, as police on Friday announced they had issued an international arrest warrant for Arfan Bhattti, a 44-year-old Norwegian Islamist, over his alleged role in the attack. Zaniar Matapour, 43, was quickly arrested near the scene on the night of the attack and charged with terrorism, murder, and attempted murder in connection with the attack.The mass shooting took place in Oslo outside the London Pub and the Per på hjørnet, both popular gay bars, early on the morning of Saturday, June 25.

(CNN) -- Ten European football teams — the Netherlands, England, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and Wales — will participate in a season-long "OneLove" campaign promoting inclusion and opposing discrimination.Every country except Sweden and Norway has qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and each captain of these eight nations will wear a distinctive OneLove armband — which features a heart containing colors from all backgrounds — during the tournament.The Netherlands FA, which is spearheading the campaign, chose the colors to represent all heritages, backgrounds, genders, and sexual identities; the armband will be worn in Qatar where same-sex relationships are a criminal offense.Sweden and Norway will participate in the initiative during the upcoming Nations League matches, while England will also wear black armbands during both its UEFA Nations League matches to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II."This is an important message which suits the game of football: on the field everybody is equal and this should be the case in every place in society.
