I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life.” He added, “The truth is, despite feeling profoundly happy right now and knowing how much privilege I carry, I am also scared.

I’m scared of the invasiveness, the hate, the ‘jokes’ and of violence. … The discrimination towards trans people is rife, insidious, and cruel, resulting in horrific consequences.”Page has been busy in both art and activism.

He executive produced the Italian documentary Nel Mio Nome (In My Name), chronicling the journeys of four transgender men, which had its world premiere this month at the Berlin International Film Festival.He joined in a friend-of-the-court brief recently filed to support the American Civil Liberties Union’s lawsuit against Arkansas’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors.
