Elliot Page's wife has shared a loving support after he came out as transgender in a moving statement. The 33-year-old star of Juno has been given the full support of Emma Portner, 26, who married Page in 2018 and said that she is "so proud" of him.
Portner, a professional dancer, issued her own statement in response to Elliot's news and she was gushing in praise with the decisions he has taken.
Taking to Instagram, Emma wrote: "I am so proud of @elliotpage." She continued: "Trans, queer and non-binary people are a gift to this world.
I also ask for patience & privacy but that you join me in the fervent support of trans life every single day." Emma added: "Elliot’s existence is a gift in and of itself.
