Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in Queens, a borough of New York City, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He bought the Miss Universe brand of beauty pageants in 1996, and sold it in 2015. He produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television series, from 2003 to 2015. As of 2020, Forbes estimated his net worth to be $2.1 billion.[

He also appeared in The Bill and as Len Cosgrove in the BBC series Born and Bred. Peter, 59, even had a cameo in the Manchester cult classic 24 Hour Party People.

He is married to Julie and has two sons George, 22, and Tom, 19. When Peter was starting out as an actor he landed a show starring a very well known actor, who wasn't too kind to him, though Peter has never named and shamed him.As his character was in the midst of a bullying storyline in 2018, Peter recalled the incident well.

He said that he was thoroughly put in his place after he got a laugh from the audience while filming in a London studio. Peter said: "I was a policeman and I got a laugh and I thought, ‘brilliant’.“But he got it wrong deliberately and as we had to set up to go again he said to me, ‘don’t ever do that again’.“He didn’t like that I had got the laugh.
