The fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK hasn’t even aired, yet casting for season five is already open! On 2 September, the social media accounts for the series called “all UK queens” to register their interest for the new season by 16 September.

In an accompanying video, RuPaul said he’s looking for – as per – “charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent,” adding: “So, if you’ve got what it takes, contact us now!” To apply for season five, sashay over to rupaulsdragraceuk.com/casting.

This week, it was confirmed that season four premieres 22 September on BBC iPlayer and will see the return of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr as regular panellists.

It will include a plethora of iconic guest stars including Hannah Waddingham, Dame Joanna Lumley, Alison Hammond, Boy George, Lorraine Pascale, Mel B, Leomie Anderson, Olly Alexander and FKA Twigs.
