Texas labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center delivered a sermon calling for the government execution of LGBTQ+ folks, and it’s not the first time he’s made such disturbing calls for violence.In his sermon entitled, Why We Won’t Shut Up, Dillon Awes of the Stedfast Baptist Church in Hurst said gay men were predatory pedophiles who have either committed sex crimes against a child or just haven’t had the opportunity to do so yet, leading him to the conclusion that “We need to put these people to death through the proper channels of the government.”Awes claimed the Bible’s solution to what he called the “sodomite deception” is queer people “should be lined up against the wall and shot in the back of the head.”“What does God say is the answer, is the solution for the homosexual in 2022, here in the New Testament, here in the book of Romans? That they are worthy of death,” Awes said. “Every single homosexual in our country should be charged with a crime, the abomination of homosexuality that they have, they should be convicted in a lawful trial, they should be sentenced to death, they should be lined up against a wall and shot in the back of the head.” Awes and the Stedfast Baptist Church are in the midst of an anti-Pride month where he visits various local churches and organizations celebrating Pride, and filming himself calling these churches blasphemous and tools of satan. Last month, another preacher at the church, Jonathan Shelley, made the news for his call to commit violence against LGBTQ+ people.

About 1.6 million people in the United States are transgender, and 43 percent of them are young adults or teenagers, according to a new report providing the most recent national estimates of this population. The analysis, relying on government health surveys conducted from 2017 to 2020, estimated that 1.4 percent of 13- to 17-year-olds and 1.3 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds were transgender, compared with about 0.5 percent of all adults. Those figures revealed a significant rise among younger people: The estimate of transgender people 13 to 25 nearly doubled since the researchers’ previous report, published in 2017, though the reports used different methods.

Meet White Tail, one of the smartest dogs you will ever meet. White Tail is a mature dog at 7 years of age, but he still has a lot of energy in the tank. He is an Australian cattle dog mix who weighs in at 48 pounds and has dappled white fur with a black head and black spots. White Tail came to the SPCA of Texas from a hoarding case in Hunt County. He was very fearful when he got here but has made Olympic-level strides since then. In fact, White Tail is now the only dog at the SPCA of Texas who is considered staff — and has his own name badge to prove it. He has excelled at not only coming out of his shell but helping the behavior staff calm the nerves of new fearful dogs coming into the program. He is absolutely adored by the staff but deserves to find his own forever home, too. He is housed at the Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center and requires an appointment.

A long passionate affair with actor Ivor Novello (Jeremy Irvine) and a somewhat more sensitive and empathetic relationship with Stephen Tennant (Calm Lynch) follow before Sassoon marries Hester Gatty (Kate Phillips) and has a son, George (Richard Goulding).

And is wholly unacceptable.’More than 1,000 people have since commented on the post, with one commentator calling it ‘insane’ and another writing: ‘Funny how this inclusion always excludes women’.The museum has since confirmed it accidentally labelled this gender-neutral toilet as ‘inclusive’ when it was supposed to be just for men.While the museum does indeed offer gender-neutral facilities, these bathrooms are typically made up of cubicles for privacy – and no urinals.But workers had to ‘adapt the space’ used for the HRA event and a male bathroom was incorrectly labelled as gender-neutral, a spokesperson said. The HRA said it has apologised to Sarahjane ‘for the distress caused’ and explained that it had requested for the museum to be made ‘inclusive of all genders’.A spokesperson for the public body said: ‘The signs were replaced as soon as we became aware of the issue.

Love Island bosses branded LGBTQ+ people a ‘logistical difficulty’, suggesting a series with queer couples would not be possible. Sadly, watching the contestants this year isn’t giving me much hope that overall attitudes towards lesbian relationships are changing,either. From what I’ve seen so far, it seems that the boys in the villa in this series are also incapable of wrapping their heads around female-female relationships.During the first episode on Monday, when the islanders were playing a game and getting to know each other, Amber was asked to deliver a chat-up line to the girl she fancied the most, before a visibly shocked Luca quickly told her she ‘can’t do that.’Of course, she could, and the realisation seemed to hit him like a tonne of bricks when it registered that she didn’t only have to be attracted to him.It didn’t stop there as, in the following episode, Paige revealed that she had kissed 10 girls in one night – good for her!However, once alone, the boys couldn’t wait to gossip in disbelief that, not only might she have had more action than them on a night out, but that it wasn’t with a man.The most soul-shattering comment though, came when Luca said Paige should ‘send the pictures’.Women-loving-women are not your porn – women can kiss and fancy other women without seeking gratification from straight menI would like to say two things to this year’s boys. Firstly, bisexuality exists and you don’t need to be involved somehow.

Wynn, who posts under the name VioWynn, tells viewers she had been coerced into online schooling because she refused to use the boys’ restroom before the stream abruptly ends.“Okay well now there’s an officer in here, just trying to join the stream,” Wynn says as the police forced open the blocked door.“Are you winning?” one of the officers asks when Wynn continues to play Minecraft.“Okay, I don’t know if you guys heard that,” Wynn responds, giggling at the officer’s question.
